Local Small Businessman

Mike founded an association and event management firm in 2006, which serves both for-profit and non-profit organizations. He wants to throw open the doors of opportunity for local entrepreneurs by reducing burdensome regulation and red tape.

Devoted Husband and Father

Mike and his wife, Holly, a business professor at the University of Central Oklahoma, have been married 23 years. They have three children, Cole, 19, Bodie, 16, and Gentry, 14, who all attend Edmond Public Schools. Mike and Holly have a passion for our local schools and can often be found volunteering in the classroom.

Led by His Faith

A graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, Mike’s faith drives everything he does, and is the reason he first chose to throw his hat in the ring for public office. The Osburns are active in their church, The Springs Church of Christ.

Experienced Public Servant

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1993, Mike worked with Oklahoma governor Frank Keating, first as campaign manager and then as deputy chief of staff, where he served as a political and policy advisor. Later, Mike became state director for U.S. Senator Don Nickles, serving four years. He also worked as the state director for Americans for Prosperity, Oklahoma, a grassroots economic public policy organization.
