Dear Friend,

I am pleased to write today on behalf of my friend for more than 20 years, Mike Osburn. Mike is a Republican candidate for state House District 81, and I want to encourage you to support him with your time, resources and—most importantly—your vote.

When Mike was fresh out of law school in 1993, he began working for my gubernatorial campaign, first as a personal assistant and later as campaign manager. Even then, at just 25 years old, I could see he was a special person with a sincere desire and the right skills to help move Oklahoma forward with common sense, principled ideas.

After I was elected governor, Mike served as my deputy chief of staff. He worked for me during some of the most exciting—and challenging—times during my tenure in public office. He was an expert manager, able to inspire and motivate his team. He consistently strived and achieved excellence for our office.

During some of the darkest days in Oklahoma history, following the Alfred P. Murrah federal building bombing, Mike served as a liaison between the governor’s office and the many state agencies affected by the bombing. I trusted him enough to make him an integral part of the planning and execution of the Thank You America Tour afterward, as well.

Mike is one of those rare people who has the courage to do the right thing even when it isn’t politically popular. That’s because he clearly is called to serve. Instead of making a career of politics after leaving the governor’s office, Mike built a private-sector business and is raising a beautiful family with his wife, Holly.

I know Mike will make an outstanding conservative leader for Edmond. He makes decisions based on principles before party lines, and his only motivation for seeking office is to make a positive difference for the community.

I respect Mike Osburn, and I urge you to help him today with a generous financial commitment of $1,000, $500, $250, $100 or any amount you can give. Campaigns are increasingly expensive, so every dollar helps.

Please join me in supporting my friend, Mike Osburn, for State House.

Sincerely,

Frank Keating

P.S. An investment in Mike’s campaign is an investment in Oklahoma’s future in a time when we desperately need effective, passionate and integrity-filled leaders. Please don’t delay. Give today!
